Your browsing rules stay in your browser. Here is what Stillgate uses, stores, and shares to work.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Stillgate handles information when you use the desktop Chrome extension, purchase Stillgate Pro, or contact support. Contact the Stillgate publisher at yvantot.code@gmail.com with privacy questions.

Information processed in your browser

Stillgate reads tab URLs and navigation events to match the site rules you choose, redirect restricted navigation, and determine when browsing time can earn. It uses browser-window focus to distinguish viewing a listed site from using another application. It does not inspect other applications, record keystrokes, read page contents, or create a separate browsing-history database. Browsing URLs and activity are not transmitted to the publisher or used for advertising.

Information stored locally

Your browser profile stores your site rules, allowed exceptions, preferences, saved profiles, browsing-time balance, access deadlines, temporary wait progress, license status and saved license key. It also stores the date your daily Pro breather was used, a settings backup when applicable, and up to 30 diagnostic error-code entries. Stillgate does not sync this information to a publisher account or cloud database.

Purchases and license verification

Gumroad handles checkout and payment processing under its own policies. Stillgate does not receive or store your payment-card number. Activation sends your license key and Stillgate product ID to Gumroad over HTTPS. Gumroad also receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address. Verified licenses are periodically rechecked. Temporary network failures preserve a previously verified entitlement. The verification response can contain purchase or buyer information; the extension does not persist that buyer information. The publisher may access order information made available by Gumroad to administer purchases and support.

Support messages

If you email support, the publisher receives your email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. They are used to answer your request and resolve purchase or technical issues. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated personal information. Diagnostic exports are optional and are not sent automatically.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide the browsing controls you request, verify paid access, and respond to support requests. Stillgate does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use browsing activity to determine creditworthiness. Data handling is limited to these stated functions. Stillgate complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Gumroad processes purchases and license verification; email providers process support correspondence. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

Your controls and retention

You can edit or delete individual site rules, export your configuration, restore settings, or reset the extension in Preferences. Reset removes configuration, backups, and diagnostics, while retaining the saved license and daily breather usage. You can remove the saved license separately. Uninstalling removes extension-local data; files you exported remain until you delete them. The publisher retains support correspondence only as needed to handle the request, related disputes, or legal obligations. Contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of information held by the publisher. Purchase records held by Gumroad are subject to its policies and legal obligations.

Security and browser history

Network license verification uses HTTPS, and extension storage is restricted to trusted extension contexts. Local extension storage is not an encrypted vault. A block-page URL temporarily includes the destination so the extension can return you to the site; Chrome may retain it in browser history under your browser settings. Stillgate does not separately transmit that destination. Incognito use is not supported.

This policy website

This site has no publisher-added analytics, advertising, contact form, or tracking scripts. Its hosting provider processes ordinary network request information to deliver and protect the site. External links, including Gumroad, are governed by their own privacy policies.

STILLGATE PRO

Purchase terms.

A $5 one-time upgrade. No recurring subscription.

What you are buying

Stillgate Pro is an optional upgrade for the Stillgate desktop Chrome extension. The listed price is US$5 as a one-time payment; taxes may be added at checkout. There is no recurring subscription. Your purchase supplies a license key to activate the Pro features described on the product page. The free extension is installed separately from the Chrome Web Store.

License and delivery

The license is for your own use of Stillgate Pro. You may not publish, resell, or share the license key. Keep your Gumroad receipt and key for activation and recovery. Activation and periodic verification require an internet connection. No device-seat limit is represented by this policy. Purchase does not transfer ownership of the product or its branding.

All sales final

All sales are final. Voluntary refunds are not offered. This does not limit refunds or other remedies required by applicable law or Gumroad's policies. Please try the free edition and confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Provided as is

Stillgate is provided as is and as available, to the extent permitted by law. No promise of uninterrupted service, compatibility with every website, a particular productivity result, or perpetual support and updates is made. Stillgate is a voluntary focus aid; it is not parental-control or security software. Browser scheduling, sleep, permissions, or browser changes can affect operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
